P&C Day
This Friday, we celebrate P&C Day in WA. I would like to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to our P&C who have worked tirelessly over the past 12 months. The group of volunteers are amazing people, always placing the needs of the school first, thank you.
Premiers Reading Challenge
Please remember to log in and join in the Premiers Reading Challenge. Besides the individual’s winning prizes the school with the most competitors will have Dewy perform at an assembly. There are weekly prizes for the child as well as overall prizes. If you want to know who Dewy is go to the web page The challenge - Premier's Reading Challenge (premiersreadingchallenge.wa.edu.au)

A reminder that next Friday 31 May is a Professional Development day for staff. Children do not come to school on that day. The Monday following 3 June, is a public holiday in Western Australia.

Buddy Class News
Cluster 5 and Room 9 had a special buddy class lesson. The students from R9 put on their teachers caps and taught the students from C5 how to use the Ozbots. The R9 students enjoyed being the instructors and the C5 students made the maps for the Ozbots to follow. As a special treat the students from C5 showed us exactly how well they can line up and how quiet they can do it. Well done C5. I am hoping R9 can line up as well as you did.
Year Six Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser
On Thursday in Week Four, the Year Six students held their annual sausage sizzle fundraiser. The event was a great success, with around 300 orders and $1,200 raised. These funds will go towards the Year Six graduation luncheon, which will hopefully be an all-expenses paid trip to the Atrium Buffet at Crown Perth!
A huge thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser by placing an order, along with the businesses who made generous donations and parents who helped on the day.
Luke Evangelista, Shendelle Donetta, Jesse Radovic and the Year Six students

Secondary School Enrolments
Secondary school enrolments are now open for next year until 19 July. If your child starts Year 7 next year, now is the time to apply to enrol. Please be aware enrolment into secondary school is not automatic. It requires you to submit an application with the secondary school of your choice.
P&C
The P&C would like to congratulate our amazing fundraising coordinator, Ashton, and her husband, Tim, on the safe arrival of their third child. Welcome to the team, little man! Over the past 9 months, Ashton has blown us away with the amount of work she did and the things she managed while pregnant. We truly appreciate the time, dedication, and drive she brings to our team. We want her to take it easy for a little while now, though!
The Entertainment App
We are fundraising with Entertainment! It is an easy-to-use app packed with incredible savings of up to 50% off and 2-for-1 offers. You can save on things like dining, takeaway, shopping, gifts cards, groceries, activities, travel and more. Plus 20% of every membership sold goes to our school.
For a limited time, receive additional value with a bonus eGift Card when you purchase a Membership before May 31, 2024
Canteen
OPEN TUESDAYS & WEDNESDAYS FOR RECESS & LUNCH!
Spriggy Schools Online is the only way to order food from the canteen. The app is very easy-to-use that even the children can place their own orders.
PLEASE NOTE: All recess orders need to be picked up from the canteen by each student who has an order. All lunch orders are delivered to each class and handed out by the teachers. We also have the canteen window open during recess and lunch for drink/treat sales, prices range from 50c - $3.50!
